• Pepperdine & Associates Inc. – Founded in 1992 to provide PR and marketing services to local, national and international companies.
• Kansas City Power & Light Co. – Managed Marketing, PR and safety programs.
• Advertising Agencies – Experience at Barkley Evergreen (public relations manager) and Marketing Resources of America (vice president of public relations).
• Hallmark Cards – Held positions as magazine editor, sales promotion copywriter and Crown Center advertising copy manager. Worked on Hallmark Hall of Fame PR.

Noteworthy accomplishments:

• Awards – Recognized for annual reports, newsletters, feature articles, speeches, sales promotion and special events.
• Longevity – Has completed 15 annual reports for one client, Layne Christensen.
• Editing experience – Has served as editor of more than 30 magazines and newsletters.
• Charitable experience – Served on the national board of directors of a $25 million humane organization. Received the highest volunteer award from the Girl Scouts.
• Quick learner – Attended four colleges in three years and completed her journalism degree a year early – Quincy (Ill.) College, William Jewell (Liberty, Mo.), Kansas State University and the University of Missouri (honors graduate).
